With more than 20 years of experience, Demarcus McGaughey is a skilled creative director, graphic designer and artist. His design expertise ranges from print design to corporate identity to interactive media development and beyond. A 10-year resident of Brooklyn, New York, Mr. McGaughey hails from Dallas, Texas, where he launched In House Media Group,a full-service design agency specializing in brand development and the parent company of In House Magazine, a now defunct lifestyle publication, which Mr. McGaughey oversaw as creative director. During its height in the early 2000s, In House Magazine served as one of the go-to publications for local advertisers looking to target young professionals in the Dallas area. Eager to expand his reach and skill set, Mr. McGaughey in 2006 closed the magazine and relocated In House Media Group’s offices to Brooklyn, where he continues to grow his portfolio. Having worked with such organizations and brands as Beyoncé Knowles’ Survivor Foundation, T.D. Jakes’ Potter House Church, and beverage giant Dr Pepper, Mr. McGaughey was spotlighted in Adweek magazine and has seen his artwork featured in several New York galleries. When not designing, Mr. McGaughey, who holds an advertising art degree from Prairie View A&M University, spends his time teaching art, giving motivational speeches and traveling the world.
